Frequently Asked Questions

What is Basketr?

Basketr compares grocery prices across 10 UK supermarkets — Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Ocado, Waitrose, Iceland, Aldi, Lidl, and Co-op — so you can find the cheapest place to buy what you need. Prices are updated daily.

How often are prices updated?

We crawl all 10 supermarket websites daily. Most prices update overnight, so what you see on Basketr reflects yesterday's or today's prices. Always verify the final price on the retailer's website before purchasing.

Is Basketr free?

Yes — search, compare, and use the basket for free. Free accounts include 5 receipt scans/month, 3 shopping lists, 50 favourites, and 30-day price history. Plus (£2.99/mo) and Pro (£4.99/mo) plans unlock higher limits and additional features.

How do I manage my subscription?

On iOS, subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions to view, change, or cancel your plan. On the web, go to Profile > Manage Subscription.

Do you include loyalty card prices?

Yes. We show Tesco Clubcard prices, Sainsbury's Nectar prices, Morrisons More Card prices, and myWaitrose member prices where applicable.

Why are some products missing from a store?

If a product shows prices from some stores but not all 10, it usually means the other stores don't stock that product, or we couldn't automatically match it. Our matching covers over 80,000 products but isn't perfect.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. If you subscribed via Apple, remember to cancel your subscription separately in iOS Settings.

Are these online or in-store prices?

These are the prices shown on each supermarket's website. For most stores, online and in-store prices are the same, but there can be occasional differences, especially for promotions.
